Workspace After Pandemic
After the pandemic, there will be a demand for a satellite between the home office and the office. Coworking space offers this solution for the people looking for escape places from home. From the corporate side, too, coworking space is gaining traction as a potential alternative, suggesting it will persist, if not expand, beyond the pandemic.

„Coworking space 3.0“
A whiteboard that also function as a divider. You can remove the whiteboard and mount it on the wall in the same way. The flexible framework allows any configuration for usage. This conceptual system creates an agile and creative working atmosphere in the coworking space.
The bolt and hinge system allows for easy assembly of the frames. The partition consists of modular frames. Composed of whiteboard and table, these can be taken apart. The table has a slot so it can be slid into the frames to help stabilize the overall partition construction. The frame has 3 primary components. One wing on the left with four hinges and another on the right with two hinges. These are connected with a center piece, which can be supplemented with more to extend the partition.
The frames were built from 20mm square tubes. Thanks to the filigree and simple construction, the frames are very easy to transport. For faster assembly and disassembly, the whiteboard is attached to the frame using a hook principle.
The room concept, I took an existing room in Erfurt as the starting point. The building is currently part of the Krämerloft Erfurt Coworking Space. The space is located near Erfurt‘s main train station at Bahnhofstraße 15. An ideal location for coworking space, as it is centrally located and therefore easy to reach. I divided the rooms according to their different functions based on their layout. In addition, this room offers various possibilities to meet the needs of the different coworkers.

The modular frame finds its function as a partition, screen and as a small „telephone booth“. On the one hand, the table acts as a base for stabilization, on the other hand as a small work surface that can be used for video conferences.
I designed a product specifically for coworking space. A multifunctional partition offers the opportunity to increase flexibility. There are not many products on the market that offer this freedom of movement. So I see the extended flexibility and modularity of my product asadded value. Although the product is targeted for coworking space, it still works in different spaces such as your own home, small officeor in universities.
